TWSC Installation Ceremony
Another great night for TWSC on April 25th. We had a wonderful rehearsal and then it was time to install the new management team for the upcoming year. The installation was officiated by Carin Williamson, a long time Sweet Adeline and member of the current Region 10 Championship Chorus, Houston Horizon. Carin followed our theme of the A train to Vegas as she presented each of our management team members with a train car and the role of their car as part of the train. Our Conductor, Betty Clipman, is the engine of the train with Marci Keller, Finance Manager, Annette Quimby, Membership Manager, Karla Fenton, Technology Manager, Karla Callaway, Marketing Manager, and Denise Fly, Operations Manager; all serving on the team for the upcoming year. We are so lucky to have these ladies working hard to make our journey successful! Each chorus member received a train ticket and we are all on board the ATrain!
Our members are a very dedicated group of women and we make every effort to make it to rehearsal but occasionally we do miss a night. Mary Tolland was recognized for her achievement of perfect attendance. This is not easy and congratulations are in order for reaching this goal!
Finally, the highly anticipated announcement of TWSC Sweet Adeline of the Year. Ten women were nominated for this award but in the end there was a tie and the two winners were Brenda Anderson and Betty Clipman. Both of these women go above and beyond to provide leadership and joy in TWSC. They love this chorus and we love them!!
We topped it all off with cupcakes and a celebration of all the great women that make up TWSC!!
