So this just happened… The Woodlands Show Chorus had a dinner show last Saturday (May 9, 2015). We had a sold-out crowd and some standing-room-only patrons as well! What a rush! The electricity in the room was palpable and added to our energy and excitement as we performed. Because we rehearse in a very “dead” room (no reverberation or echo), the “live” characteristics of the show location were a joy for us by comparison..
Our patrons applauded at all the right times and the same for laughter, thank goodness! They also wiped out the bake sale items (thanks!) and almost all the silent auction items (thanks again!). We appreciate the support and generosity very much.
Judging by the comments and feedback heard from our patrons, we succeeded in entertaining them and in transporting them on the musical journey we took. It appears that there was a win-win situation going on!!
