Contest photos arrived!

We have been waiting for our photos from the Region 10 competition from April 16 -18, 2026 and they have finally arrived. Even though The Woodlands Show Chorus did not compete this year (because we were the winners last year), our group performed for evaluation. We were anxious to sing our music like an open division set with narration and a plot. It was similar to what we will be doing for the International Competition in Columbus in October.

Here's the photo! You may be wondering why there is a flute and an accordion in the photo? You will just have to wait to find out by coming to our Friends and Family evening when we are ready to show our package!

Flash Mob at the Mall

On Monday July 20 at 6:00 pm The Woodlands Show Chorus met at the food court in The Woodlands Mall…not to eat dinner…but rather to do a flash mob sing out! We performed near the rotunda area and the people stopped in their tracks to listen, clap along and dance! We were right there near the tables and the audience was serenaded while they ate!

We are spreading the joy of music around the area but you might notice the signs around our necks. They have a sentence starter: During the day I am….(fill in the blank with your occupation). We are doctors, educators, pilots, nurses, artists, accountants and MANY other occupations who ALL love to sing and entertain. AND our audience really enjoyed our brief flash mob performance…even the mall cop was smiling!
