Nothing beats the winter blues like singing with your friends! We are off and running this New Year with new music and arrangements in prepartion for competing at the Sweet Adelines International Contest and Convention, held this October in St. Louis, MO.
We have been welcoming new members to join us on this joyful road to the international stage! We know they will be as excited as we are when we first joined Sweet Adelines. The only question most of us had when we joined was "What took me so long to find these wonderful women and this wonderful harmony that is sung each week!"
This week we welcomed Jim Arns to our rehearsal. Known in the Sweet Adeline world as a Master Director 700 and winner of multipule gold medals with his chorus, he is one of our coaches. The opportunity this provides us for ongoing music education is incredible. Watching and learning from the best in the business is always fun and so rewarding!
