National Barbershop Harmony Quartet Day - 2018-Apr-11

April 11^th is the National Barbershop Harmony Day and The Woodlands Show Chorus is happy to host this year’s event. We will kick off the parade of choruses and quartets at 7:00 PM at Oak Forest Elementary School with warm up space available starting at 6:30 PM. Each chorus and quartet will be asked to sing 1 or 2 songs depending on the number of participants. While we won’t have curved risers, there are 4 wood steps that run the length of the stage. So there will be floor space plus 4 rows of steps.

After all choruses and quartets have had a chance to sing at the school, we are looking into possibilities to head to a nearby restaurant for those that wish to continue the evening. There will be more information to follow, check back!

As always, this event will be open to the public and we are counting on each chorus and quartet to help spread the word.
