On April 11, 2024 The Woodlands Show Chorus joined other Houston Area Barbershop singing enthusiasts to celebrate "Barbershop Quartet Day." Nine quartets and five choruses performed for each other and to a very appreciative audience. The Woodlands Show Chorus, Houston Horizon and Katy Vocal Express belong to Sweet Adelines International whereas The Tidelanders and Space City Sound are members of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
The whole evening was a tribute to HARMONY, not only with the singing, ringing chords, but also with the feeling of camaraderie in the air.
Hooray! The Barbershop style is alive and well in the Houston area!
