Sing, Sing, Sing and then....Socialize! It seems like every Monday night AFTER rehearsal we are still energized and excited about our progress!
Yes, we are working really hard during rehearsal time and there isn't much of an opportunity to catch up on our personal friendship things...and so when you like the people you sing with, you either come EARLY or go out AFTER to have some time to visit. We call that an "afterglow" time because we still have that warm feeling you get when you all are having fun... TOGETHER!
TWSC has made a plan for every THIRD Monday to schedule an afterglow gathering time. We found a really great spot on FM 1488 called Woodson's Local Tap and Kitchen, where they serve a late night snack menu and adult beverages. Specialty? Beer on tap and big as your face Pretzels. This past month we had a great time with these members pictured: (starting from far left, around the table) Nancy, Carin, Jordan, Dian, Carol, Sheila, Kaye, the big as your face pretzel, Brenda, Janie, Kerri, Denise, Pam and Karla. Phyllis took the photo. Since we had all four parts represented, we were able to sing a song for the customers and most especially for the fantastic Woodson's workers! What did we sing? "Sing, Sing, Sing" of course!
