Kerri is the Music Director of The Woodlands Show Chorus (TWSC). With a background as a Music Educator and a deep understanding of Sweet Adelines, she brings a wealth of knowledge to TWSC. While developing our music education, Kerri finds new and interesting ways of making learning fun.
Kerri was a public school educator and holds a Bachelor of Music degree and a Master’s Degree in Education, having served as a Music Teacher and as an Assistant Principle during her career. The skills and knowledge she received from these experiences transfer perfectly into our chorus culture.
Within Sweet Adelines, Kerri is a Master Director and an Approved Expression Judge. In 2023, she received Region 10’s Hall of Fame Award for her outstanding contributions to the region. Kerri is a fabulous quartet singer and placed in the Top 15 in the 2016 International Quartet Competition. In addition to TWSC, she directed the Greater Sabine Chorus from 1986 - 1991. Kerri enjoys coaching choruses and quartets, and specializes in helping them reach their goals.
