It is with great sorrow that The Woodlands Show Chorus wants to let the world know that Martie Heyde lost her brief battle with cancer on Tuesday, January 7th. She was one of our founding members, a member of the management team, and joyful bass. Every Monday was "Joy Day" to Martie, she said, because she so looked forward to coming to chorus practice and singing! Martie previously sang with Harmony on the Sound Chorus in Connecticut and Houston Horizon Chorus, as well as many quartets. She will be missed.
