Wow!! TWSC had a great weekend with the fabulous Betty Clipman coaching us. Riser placement was tweaked with the help of Janie and Sheri. Kerri was our director and did a great job with some really fun learning activities. Betty is one of the best coaches in SAI and we were fortunate to have her with us Friday night and Saturday. We are so lucky because we also have Betty every week at our regular rehearsals!
What a fabulous day!!! With two shows on June 11 The Woodlands Show Chorus brought it all together with an entertaining show and beautiful music. We were definitely in our A game as we put it all on the stage for our audience. Our very own RAVE and "Class Act Stars on Tour" were featured in the first half of the show. Speed of Sound, the 2016 Sweet Adelines International Quartet Champions, highlighted the second half of the show. This quartet put on a fun and entertaining set. Their music was absolutely AWESOME!! These women personify what all Sweet Adelines aspire to achieve-a combination of great musicality, character and JOY in our art form of barbershop!
