The Woodlands Show Chorus had an absolute blast kicking off the Houston Symphony’s Star-Spangled Salute concert on Wednesday, July 3rd, at the iconic Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Singing prior to the Houston Symphony performance has become a tradition for TWSC each summer. Selections included traditional favorites songs like "This is my Country",
Alas, our beloved Director, the great and illustrious Betty Clipman, will be retiring at the end of the year, and we will sorely miss her sweet face and amazing directing in front of us. The good news is that our long-time, accomplished Associate Director, Kerri Mauney, has been elected and accepted the position of TWSC Director, effective December 1, 2024. More later about this fabulous lady - just very excited to get the word out NOW!!</p>
